Gaza: The Poem Said Its Piece is the first English-translation collection by Palestinian poet Nasser Rabah, published as number 64 in the City Lights Pocket Poets Series. This bilingual edition presents Rabah's original Arabic poems alongside their English translations. The collection compiles selections from three of his previously published volumes alongside new poems written after October 2023 during the military assault on Gaza. Rabah's verses depict daily life under siege, blending existential themes, delicate imagery, and questions of divinity amidst destruction.
